The Heart of Prosper Goods & Co.

Welcome! I'm Rebekah, founder of Prosper Goods & Co. I'm a wife and mom of four kids living a wonderful, crazy life in southwest Missouri.

 

In 2017, I wanted to update my living room furniture, so I decided to build it myself. What started as a fun hobby turned into small woodworking business called Prosper Woodwork. In 2023 I took a step back from woodworking to focus on my family and homeschool our kids. During that time, I began learning about the incredible skin benefits of tallow, so I started making my own whipped tallow face cream. I loved how it made my skin feel and look. It was also important to me knowing EXACTLY what I was putting on my skin! Friends and family started using it, and soon after, I began selling my own line of creams, salves and balms.

I love the creativity of woodworking, as well as the process of tallow-making. Both hobbies provide a therapeutic outlet for me and at the same time, I get to share the finished product with others. It's very rewarding! Since I love making both handmade and tallow products, I decided to rebrand my former business - Prosper Woodwork - into Prosper Goods & Co. This also gives me some wiggle room in case I decide to add another line of products.
